A Little will go a long away!!!

One of the things that is hardest for people to understand is how impactful even a small donation can be. So often I had people tell me that they would like to give but they can only afford to contribute $50 or $10 or even $5 to an organization. Surely, they say, such an amount is far too tiny to make any difference, so why bother to give? Let me encourage you. In fact when it comes to giving, no donation is too small. Here are a few examples:

A $5 gift to King World Missions in Lusaka Zambia, helps to get Text books, crayons, pencils erasers and a sharpener for a school going child. While $10 given to the same group would help feed a family of four for a month.

A mere $30 a month (That is only a dollar a day) could help King World Missions test twenty children for Malaria, that is very prominent in Africa, perhaps saving their lives from this treatable but potentially fatal disease.

A $50 donation would help King World Missions to buy three pockets of Cement that can go a long way in its building project.

So the next time you consider making a donation and catch yourself thinking that it’s too small, picture the children in Zambia who are receiving education and lunch every day at school or Malaria shots or text books. Think about the difference you are making in these little ‘Angel’s lives. Think about them growing up happy, healthy and strong because you took the time to send in a donation that at the end of year, you will hardly miss, but that they will long remember. And then click on that website icon called donation or fill out that check, secure in the knowledge that you are truly making a difference. Heaps of thanks to you who are doing so already.

Hoping to hear from you soon,

Rev. Dr. Sebente
